ISLAND of ELBA

We have prepared a simple travel plan to assist you in your journey towards the :
Hotel Elba and Residence dei Fiori:

• The island of Elba can be reached from the port of Piombino, 2 ferry companies operate from here.

MAPS

- Arriving from the north of Italy follow the motorway “A12 GENOVA–LIVORNO” and exit at “Rosignano Marittimo” (the motorway ends here) and you will then enter the Superstrada. Arriving from the south follow the motorway “A12 ROMA-GROSSETO”;

- The port of PIOMBINO can be reached by car in a few minutes by exiting the Superstrada LIVORNO-GROSSETO at VENTURINA and following the indications for ISOLA D'ELBA;

- On leaving the docking area in Portoferraio follow the signs: "TUTTE LE DIREZIONI";

- Follow the 4 lane road leaving Portoferraio and keep going straight ahead in the direction of PROCCHIO and MARINA DI CAMPO;

- Once you arrive in PROCCHIO, turn left and follow the indications for Marina di Campo;

- After having passed the small airport of “LA PILA”, turn left and at the end of the road you will find a roundabout, follow for “Centro” Marina di Campo. Approx. 350m after the "AGIP" petrol pump you will find our RECEPTION on the right hand side of the road.

- Those clients travelling to the island by train or bus can use the taxi or bus services in Portoferraio. Both the taxi rank and the bus stop are in front of the docking area of Toremar. The journey to Marina di Campo lasts 30 minutes. You should buy your ticket before boarding the bus.

A few tips...
If you are planning on coming by car to Elba, please note that it is better to book your car ferry crossing well ahead if you intend to travel on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
We can take care of your ferry booking if you wish, tickets will be sent to you by post. If you are not coming by car it is not necessary to book in advance.

If you are planning to travel to the hotel by bus please note that the bus from Portoferraio stops in the early evening and no buses run at night time .

Please note that hotel rooms are ready for 14,00 and apartments in the early afternoon. Both rooms and apartments have to be vacated by 10 a.m.
