How far is the structure from the seaside and the village centre?
Marina di Campo beach is only 300m away and the village centre begins 400m from the hotel.
Is the beach easy to get to?
Yes, the road is all level. The beach is made up of white sand and certain parts of the gulf have very shallow water, ideal for children.
Is the rental of parasols and sun loungers already included in the price of the holiday?
No, it’s your choice whether to rent a parasol and sun loungers at a bathing establishment. or just go to the “spiaggia libera”, which is open to everybody and access to it is absolutely free all over the island. The average cost of a parasol and two sun loungers is €18-€25 per day according to the season.
Are there restaurants, bars and supermarkets nearby?
The nearest supermarket is around 400m from the hotel. Continuing down towards the village centre there are several bars, boutiques, restaurants etc.
Is there a dive centre near the hotel?
There is Ondasub www.ondasub.it - 0565 977058 - 400m from the hotel.
Do we have to pay extra to use the swimming pool, safe and air conditioning?
No, these facilities are all included in your holiday price. Usually air-con is available from mid June onwards and the swimming pool opens up roughly mid May .
Does the swimming pool have bathing assistance?
No. There is no lifeguard and the depth of the pool is 1,50m
Is there a fridge in the hotel rooms?
No, however if you have any important objects you need to keep in the fridge, we are happy to take care of that.
Do you only accept bookings from Sat to Sat?
No, depending on availability you can choose to arrive and leave on any day of the week at both the hotel and the self-catering flats.
Do all the rooms have a balcony and sea view?
No, some rooms have a balcony or terrace but none have a sea view. All self–catering apartments have either a balcony or terrace but again, none have a sea view.
Do you have a playground for children?
There are no specific play areas for children.
Is there a garage in the hotel?
No, but there is an open car park for our guests and everyone has a car space assured.
Do you have bicycles available for guest’s use?
No, however you can rent bikes, scooters and cars nearby.
Are meals in the hotel buffet style?
Breakfast is served buffet style; midday and evening meals are waiter service.
I’ve booked a room in half board, can I occasionally change to full board?
Yes, you can choose each day whether to stay for lunch or not. Lunch is served at one o’clock.
Are drinks already included in the price?
No, none of your drinks at lunch or dinner are included.
Do you have special prices for group bookings?
Yes, you can ask for a discount, which may vary depending on the size of your group.
Where does the ferry leave from? How far is Marina di Campo from Portoferraio?
You take the ferry from Piombino on the mainland to Portoferraio on the east coast of Elba. This takes approximately one hour. Marina di Campo is about 17km from Portoferraio, which takes around 25 mins by car.
Are there flights to Elba?
There is an airstrip in Marina di Campo and you can check on flights at www.elbafly.it or phone the airport directly for information on which airline is flying in.
